Prabowo Claims to Have Yet Met Jokowi's Envoy

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto claimed that he has yet met a messenger assigned by his political rival Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.
“Not yet,” Gerindra chief patron shortly told reporters after declaring his victory at his residence on Jalan Kertanegara 4, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Thursday, April 18.
However, former special forces general said his relationship with Jokowi will remain good. “No one has come yet but the clear thing is my relationship with him and everyone is good. We want a good brotherhood,” he said.
Earlier, Jokowi said he had sent a messenger to meet the candidate number 02 to have talks. “So people will see that yesterday’s election has ended smoothly, safely, peacefully, and without any issue,” he added.
Based on results of quick count issued by a number of pollsters, Jokowi - Ma’ruf ticket is leading the presidential election. On the other hand, presidential candidate number 02 declared their victory based on the real count result obtained from C1 Form conducted by his internal team.
